How-to Sideload Clash of Clans onto the Kindle Fire, HD, & HDX
Normally we can just install an app directly from the marketplace, however for apps like Clash of Clans that are not available, we need to ‘sideload’ it to the device. Sideloading means to manually install an app to your device with the installation file.
Enable Installation of Applications
For Kindle Fire & Kindle Fire HD: Settings > Device > Allow Installations of Applications
For Kindle Fire HDX, Fire HD, & all other Fire Tablet: Settings > Security > Apps from Unknown Sources
Download Clash of Clans Installation File
In the Silk Browser, download the latest Clash of Clans installation file here: http://rawapk.com/clash-of-clans-apk-download/
Install Clash of Clans
After the file is finished downloading, go to the Download folder and open the installation file. This will install Clash of Clans to your Kindle Fire.

How do I update a sideloaded app? Can anyone point me to a tutorial?
You do not need to delete the old version of the app. You just download the updated .APK file and hit install. It’ll update the app without deleting your progress.
