How-to Sideload Instagram onto the Kindle Fire, HD, & HDX

Learn how to install the world’s most popular photo & video app to your Kindle Fire device. Currently, Instagram is not available in the Amazon market. In order to install Instagram to the Kindle Fire, users will need to ‘sideload’ the application onto the device. The process is easy and requires no rooting or modifications to your Fire.

Enable Installation of Applications
For Kindle Fire & Kindle Fire HD: Settings > Device > Allow Installations of Applications
For Kindle Fire HDX, Fire HD, & all other Fire Tablet: Settings > Security > Apps from Unknown Sources

Download Instagram Installation File
In the Silk Browser, download Instagram installation file here: http://rawapk.com/instagram-apk-download/

Install Instagram
After the file is finished downloading, go to the Download folder and open the installation file. This will install Instagram to your Kindle Fire.
